"Just a couple miles from campus, great locale for a family stay. Bonus chocolate pretzels upon arrival appreciated. Very great communication from hosts. It is an older cottage w quirks of an older house w original bathroom w no mirror, steep staircase to basement off the kitchen, small TV, but great for playing some games and close place to sleep/shower."

"This adorable cottage was perfect for my husband, 2 small dogs, and me. We docked our fishing boat. Put the dogs on runs and basically lived in the back yard. It was quiet and somewhat shielded from neighbors. The outdoor dining room under the porch was an unexpected gem. The cottage is small, particularly the bedrooms. "The cabin was just what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of work!! Just the right size to sit and relax by the water and enjoy an early morning or late evening canoe ride while the Eagle flew above us. Perfect spot for day hikes or day drinking at the wineries. Then enjoy a bonfire with a glass of wine and talk about all you did and what you want to do the next day!! Definitely recommend and will be back"

"Comfortable house, not huge, but nicely decorated. Host was very quick to respond when I had trouble with door code. The only con for us was lack of handrails on steps to exterior doors (front and back). Otherwise a great place to stay."

"Excellent lakefront property, We were greeted with beautiful views of the lake as well as a bottle of wine, welcome card and a crackers and cheese plate. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. So many supplies, spices, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hot tub was amazing. We stayed here for college visit to UConn, which was so close. We all had an excellent relaxing time and hope to retune again soon!!"

"Loved our stay here. We found the cottage to be very welcoming. Everything was very organized with instructions for all the appliances, pellet stove, and tvs easily accessible. The main bedroom was nice and comfortable. The four season room was so inviting. The pellet stove kept the cottage very warm and the fire was so soothing.
