C & O Canal in Williamsport, MD. 185 miles in total dug by hand in the 17th century connecting Washington DC to Cumberland, MD. It was used for the transportation of material and products. It was replaced, almost before it was completed, by the railroads.

Room was very clean, smelled great and was very comfortable. My only complaint was i did not know i was being charged for parking. That was a slap in the face. But everyone was pretty nice
