"The minute you enter the boutique hotel lobby you’re greeted by a lovely attendant. He was very helpful and so nice. Our room was super clean, very new, and beautiful. The included breakfast is fantastic! Views of the lake were spectacular. The location is about 10 minutes (walking) from a cafe and 10 min drive from a small town. Walking is a bit doggy with limited sidewalks and speedy traffic, but we managed with no problems. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Super séjour, assez incroyable pour une aire de service. Chambre avec terrasse en granit sur la prairie au bord du fleuve, coté opposé à l’autoroute. Aucun bruit sinon les oiseaux. Vélos électriques en location pour se rendre en ville et visiter les alentours. Accès privé si besoin, sans repasser par l’autoroute. Excellent dîner et déjeuner buffet."

"The hotel was just what I had hoped for, for my lake como vacation. Just a few minutes from varenna and more quiet and quaint. We were picked up from the train station and offered shuttle service but everything is walkable or a quick train or ferry ride away. Breakfast is great and the staff here are very nice and helpful. It’s right on the lake so the views are beautiful. We only booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4. "

The room itself was very tired looking and in need of updating and had an odd smell. The bathroom was clean but the shower frequently ran out of hot water and failed to drain fast enough so had to frequently turn off to stop from overflowing. "Where do I start? We arrived to Il Perlo and were welcomed with a nice cocktail overlooking the most breath taking views of Bellagio! The staff was phenomenal! The family suite was perfect for four adults. It was spotless and provided everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hotel shuttle was so convenient to use for our trip into the lakeside town of Bellagio. If we had more days to stay at the hotel we would've booked the cooking class they have on-site which looked very fun! The breakfast...

"Fantastic hotel right on the water near the ferry. Beautiful and quiet little harbor away from the busy road. Quiet and comfortable attic room. Staff is friendly and helpful.
