"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. "I found the staff very friendly and helpful. On my first night the weather was awful and sadly the room had a few leaks. I informed the staff the next morning to make them aware. Water damage is not good. They immediately asked if my suitcase was ok and asked if I needed anything drying. They then proceeded to move me to a lovely big room, which was lovely and very spacious 😀"

"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"Lovely 2 night stay in this nice Welsh town. Was Warmley greeted by the hotel staff and felt welcome straight away. Was checked in and in my room within 5 minutes. The room was a good size with a double bed , clean and modern bathroom and a large flat screen T.V. "

"A beautiful and conveniently located holiday park for enjoying the area around Snowdonia National Park. Check-In was well organised with regular messages. The accommodation was as described and very clean. Highly recommended. "

"What an elegant, well presented and comfortable house in which to stay! Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"The view from the caravan was amazing, caravan was clean and warm, had everything we needed. Barmouth is a beautiful place and lots of places to visit. Will definitely be back loved it."

"Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. "

"I really loved the quite night and the amazing sun rise from my room with the beach view and the hills. The breakfast is very good and tasty. I would like to just highlight to pay more attention to small details in regarding the cleaning., but overall a nice experience. Thank you."
