"We were given a smelly basement room. Our view was an actual hallway traversed by other visitors. Would shocking be the word for that? No “front desk” so no front desk contact people. My advice which I will take moving forward: Stay in a proper hotel!"

"A strange stay. When we arrived and went to our room and was met by an overwhelming smell of drains coming from the bathroom. Something probably made worse by the fact the toilet seat was too small for the toilet. I raised this to the front desk and to be fair to them they came over straight away and talked through our options. They were nice and a highlight of the experience. I mentioned that, online, there seemed to be a lot of rooms at the property available with aircon at a similar price...

They were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but practical. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was perfectly adequate with enough space and a good temperature. "The property was under construction. The room was very worn and very basic. Very small bathroom."

"The Euro Hotel is a comfortable but no frills hotel in an older property. It has an appealing yet convenient location just off the main Euston Road being set next to a garden with tennis courts. Bear in mind that there is no lift if you are less mobile or have heavy luggage- book the ground floor. A substantial buffet breakfast was included with our room booking."

It was a great location in an old building (actually reminded us of a tenement from NYC) The shared bathroom/showers were actually quite convenient as we could all use separate facilities at the same time. The room on the first floor was a bit warm and a bit loud until midnight but would not say it affected our stay. Would recommend."
