"Great hotel in a convenient location with walking distance to Union Square. Great lobby with a giant fire place that was burning all day. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The only drawback was that when we called with a special request, it took hours for the staff to respond, and only after a reminder phone call. Other than that, a great hotel"

"This is my second time staying at this property. I loved it the first time and I loved it even more this time. The room was a good size. The bathroom was clean and up to date. We were on the quieter side this time away from Geary. We didn’t use any of the amenities however my children did use the big chair in the lobby extensively. I also used the water station which was cold and filtered. We ate at Frederick’s several times throughout the stay for breakfast. The food is ok, my only complaint...

"Wonderful stay! The only downfall was not being clearly labeled and visible from the street. I would not have guessed that we would have to enter a door that was labeled as a restaurant. To have to take another “loop” around the block, takes so long because it can’t actually be around one block, to almost miss it again, but thank God I could just back up that time. Would definitely stay again and now that I know, I know how and where to check in."
