The room we were in was very spacious, it also included a sizeable bathtub. There are 60 something rooms in the lodge but they appear to be spread out as I only saw maybe a dozen which made the place very private. "We had an amazing stay at Bakubung! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Our flight from Cape Town was delayed by several hours so we arrived at the lodge close to 10pm. Not only did they respond to my email quickly to reassure me that the late check-in would be no problem, but the receptionist quickly guided us to the restaurant as soon as we arrived, as the kitchen was closing and she wanted to make sure we had something to eat before bed. "The property location was great for our daily safari. The staff are welcoming and made my shy kid feel right at home. The kids enjoyed the impromptu elephant visit at lunch time and visits from Zebra’s at breakfast. I would definitely recommend the place for a family visit. "

"Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool."

"It was our family's second time at ANEW RESORT Hunters Rest, and it outdid the first time which was great! Again, we had a family birthday being celebrated, and we were greeted by Thabang at reception with a message from the staff.
