"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. "The location is good and the apartment was well laid out and efficient. We booked this instead of a hotel because the apartment offered laundry. However our machine smelled of burned rubber and left the smell in the clothes. We were there during summer and needed to open the windows. We were directly over trash and recycle bins which were quite loud as the bars dumped their bottles at the end of the night."
