"Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better."

"The staff are all extremely friendly, the hotel is beautiful decorated, and you can’t beat the location. You are directly across from Washington square park and walking distance to so many restaurants, bars, and comedy shows. Hotel also offers an airport shuttle for a flat fee. Hotel rooms are basic but clean. Only down side was the shower. The pressure isn’t great (but maybe that was just our room). Otherwise, we were happy with our stay!"

"Very tired and broken room. Furniture falling apart, old yellowed wallpaper, some plug sockets didnt work. The noise from the service lift was audible in the room. There was a nespresso machine, but two odd sized cups with no saucers nor teaspoons. THE LIFTS ARE BADLY BROKEN, QUEUES ARE HORRENDOUS TO GET TO AND FROM YOUR ROOM. ONE OF THE FOUR LIFTS WAS OUT OF ORDER FOR THE FULL DURATION - 4 DAYS OF OUR STAY. There was nowhere to buy a coffee in the morning unless you paid for room service. The...

"Great room, unfortunately the well known bar at the lobby was closed for a private party. In my opinion hotel bars should not be closed for hotel guests. That’s an amenity guest pay for and sometimes the reason a guest may book a hotel. Like going to a ski resort but the slopes are closed for a private event of a rich guy and guest just watch through a window. Having said that, the hotel is well located and reasonably priced. "

"Arrived pretty late to my reservation and the older lady at the front desk made me feel pretty dumb about my reservation and had an attitude while I was checking in. It wasn’t welcoming at all. Then after dragging my heavy bag upstairs with my other guests the key didn’t work. And that happens sometimes but the hospitality just wasn’t there. She had an attitude anytime I asked a question. Even though ai stayed here plenty of time, I doubt I would return. Try Sixty, or Bowery if you’re in that...

"Booked a king room. Got a double ADA. Was not told about the room availability. Walked into the room to realize. Was told there was nothing they could do. Then took a shower in the MOST DISGUSTING shower I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. It was clogged and filthy. Standing in water up to my ankles."

"I was pleasantly surprised at how clean my room was and the efficient, modern design. Perfect location for my stay with easy access to NYC attractions. The staff were amazing! The minute I walked in the door I was greeted and provided assistance quickly throughout my stay."

"All went well. We were out most of the time enjoying the city and graduations. Room felt comfortable and accommodating. Staff was cordial. Air conditioning was a little cold could not lower. But overall a good place to stay."
