"I was hoping for better cleanliness. The hot tub was dirty and we didn’t get to enjoy it as much. I had to ask for a broom to sweep all the dog hair in master bedroom and bathroom, shower bottom floor was dirty in both bathrooms, toothpaste in master bathroom sink, stained towels, and bathroom shower head dirty. But overall the stay was great. The Nest was very nice and cozy. "

"This was the third year in a row that we have stayed in Black Mountain. It is a family and friends trip for my granddaughter's homecoming soccer game. By far, this house was the best. Room to seat the twelve of us in the dining room. Big kitchen. Plenty of dishes, pans, and cutlery. Nice bedrooms, only you had to walk through two of the upstairs ones to get to two others. "Beautiful views of the mountain and lake. This property was very comfortable for our party of 7 adult women having a mini college reunion. There was plenty of room for everyone with the number and arrangement of bedrooms, the great room and dining room, etc. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owner was easily accessed for questions and provided clear instructions about check in and the house in general. Overall, a great low-key place to stay!"

"Wow! What a beautiful cabin! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. Close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you’re in the sticks. :-) Host is a great communicator and answered our questions quickly. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Host didn’t give us a laundry list of chores to complete on our way out, which was a nice change. Can’t say enough good things about this property. "

"This is an amazing property. We booked this last minute and were completely satisfied. Photos can’t capture all of the detail this house has. We enjoyed the wood fireplace on the porch each night. We could not get the hot tub to work but it could have been operator error. We never bothered the owner with it. Just a heads up, if you are on a small 2wd car then the access could be an issue for some. Overall this is an awesome house and I hope we can stay there again."
