The kids could watch tv in the back room, I could sit and read in the front room, the pool was huge, although the weather wasn't conducive for swimming, the fire pit in the front was a great spot for sipping wine and creating s'mores. A couple of the appliances needed maintenance but, hey, that happens. The house was well-appointed and we had a great time there. "

"This room was perfect for us! Comfortable and quiet! The kitchen has all of the appliances and gadgets you need. . It's a short walk to town, for dinner, drinks and music. We saw a great 4th fireworks show. I would definitely book this room again!"

She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well. "Wonderful place to stay in Black Mountain! Our family of three really enjoyed the cottage and the outdoor sitting area. It is immaculate and includes everything you need. Very easy access to downtown and to the highway for local adventures. Interesting modern design - the high ceiling makes it feel bigger than it is. Gorgeous landscaping. Bear sightings! "

"The Great Aspen Chateau was a great place for a large family gathering. We had 12 adults, a teenager, a 3year old and an infant with plenty of beds and comfortable space for everyone. We drove from 3 states with 5 cars, and it was no problem parking them. Entry to the property was easy and Kelly’s directions to the house were great. Kelly was great to work with and readily available for questions. The roads to the property were paved and easier to drive on than other mountain rentals we have...

"This is a wonderful house for a large family vacation. We had a group of 15 and there was more than enough room for us to be comfortable. There was a power outage in Black Mountain. I emailed the host and water and flashlights were delivered to us very quickly. The best part of the trip was sitting on the porch looking at that beautiful view.
