"A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. "Excellent price, beautiful location, facilities very clean and well equipped bathroom. Would’ve been nice to have a double mattress instead of two single beds, but it worked well anyway. Excellent stay, no complaints"

"Barton’s Mill was a fantastic find. Very friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast. We liked the fact the rooms were separate from the pub and easily accessible. Situated in a beautiful area. Easy access to M3. Would definitely recommend. "

"Liked the fact the welcome by reception was pleasant and check in was easy. Hotel location is great and easy to find with free parking in the hotel car park. Free WiFi is a bonus. Only negative I could find was the poorly performing coffee machine in the bar area next to the restaurant. The cappuccino setting only gave half a cup. It would be nice to have the option of a cup of coffee or a mug of coffee."

"Stayed at the Coat & Bear while visiting Highclere Castle. I had a room with 2 beds and it was very spacious. The staff was very nice and the food at the pub was delicious. The town of Newbury is very nice and walkable and the hotel is only about a 10-15 min walk to the Newbury train station. I would definitely stay here again. "

Literal, no sé por qué la gente quiere quedarse en Londres cuando puede disfrutar de unos días en la campiña inglesa, teniendo el lujo a todo esplendor, el mejor desayuno que puedas probar. Un hotel con demasiada historia y al mismo tiempo, un precio tan accesible, podrías jurar que estás en un Four Seasons, pero estás en Audley's Wood, una cadena más hermosa y con más personalidad. "

"Lovely hotel - a bit out of the way if you're not going to the races, but easy enough to find with a car. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice food in the restaurant. Very comfy bed and quiet surroundings. Would recommend."
