"The hotel was under renovation and not providing any hot food only continental breakfast, as a diabetic I couldn't have the bread, yoghurt, cerials, jams or croissants. The continental breakfast were £15. We were not informed about the renovations before arrival, if we were we would have c. Cancelled. "

"The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment."

"The good points are that the room was clean and hotel central. The bad points are that the hotel is very run down and nothing like the website photos. The furniture is old and cheap. The mattresses so soft they offer no support. The facilities are minimal. Staff sullen and grudging. Avoid as much better hotels & inns available. "

"Hotel staff is always welcoming and helpful and beds are super comfy. Hotel is located in a very convenient area when visiting areas around Wirral and a nice stop when travelling further south and free parking on site. "

"Room was a lovely size and well decorated. Room was relatively clean, with the exception of a few dead bugs in the windows. Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer. "Room (342) was lovely - Nice and spacious. Staff, in general were pleasant. Unfortunately one member of staff in particular didn't have the best of attitudes. Breakfast was nice enough. Although, it was served in a relatively small area so was very crowded during busier times. Highlight was definitely the steam room. Have to say the pool was nice, as was the sauna, it was just a weird shape which reduced the capacity. Amazing location - very central. Would stay again."
