"Perfect place to get away for my birthday. Spent most of the time on the river but the cabin was a perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring. Loved the windows that gave a beautiful view of the river and having kayaks provided for river use was the icing on the cake! 10/10 would stay here again! "

The home was very clean and the hosts made everything so simple for check in and check out. I would stay here again when going to the area. "This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. It was 25 minutes from Tech, so very convenient. "

"This was a great few days for my family and I celebrating a VT graduation. Beautiful home, and a really cool location. The town has an awesome shop with a cafe super close. The host was attentive and friendly. Would recommend!"

"We really enjoyed this location this year, we have stayed at others before, but this one is by far the nicest. Beds are all comfortable, and the location is good for fishing Walker Creek and the New River. And the local friendly dog came every evening to hang out. He loves Hot dogs!"

"We were traveling into the area to attend the Virginia Tech commencement ceremonies. This was a fantastic find. Close enough to attend the events, but far enough to avoid the congestion in Blacksburg during this busy time of the year. When our usual dog sitter was unavailable, this allowed us to bring them along with us and they settled right in as well. We loved everything about the location and would highly recommend it to anyone considering traveling to the area. "

"We initially chose this property because it was a halfway meeting point for three couples. The accommodations exceeded expectations. The layout of the living room and kitchen provided a nice flow for all to hangout. We brought kayaks and bikes and spent time exploring the river as well as the local trails. We even brought our cat who enjoyed sitting on the porch and window sills. The only thing we wish we could change was the size of the two first floor bedrooms. A little small but not a deal...

The camper was cozy and immaculate: Everything we could possibly need. Temps had dipped and they had it nice and warm for us. This was our first time EVER staying in a camper. Pleasantly impressed. "Easy access to shopping and grocery store. Comfortable surroundings. Beautiful nature and lots of birdsong. The chickens free ranging on the property is a plus. Love it! Highly recommend for small group of adults and maybe school age children. We were three adults. The bunk bed is a bit tricky on the top bunk for an adult. The queen bed is very comfortable."

"Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! Two nice areas to congregate with ample seating, one upstairs and one downstairs. The proximity to VT was very convenient, about a 10 minute drive. Very...

"The views from this home are stunning. We were in town for a week visiting our daughter who attends Radford University. The house is just about 30 minutes drive from the college as they are windy mountain roads but so worth the drive! The sunsets were amazing on the lake and it was relaxing and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed with pots/ pans and dishes. It was a wonderful week!"
