"What a unique and fun place to stay! We met the owners and they were so friendly and helpful! Our cottage was very comfortable and appointed well with things you would need for a longer stay. The beach is close with nice walking paths. The local folks are very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with several of them. We will have great memories of this place for our lives!"

"Stayed at Point Lonsdale Apartments recently — great location, but overall disappointing. Advertised as 4-star, but felt closer to 3-star. Rooms are older and could use a more thorough clean (noticeable dust). The “premium bedding” didn’t live up to the claim either — very firm beds and wafer-thin pillows made for an uncomfortable stay, and we ended up checking out early. "Property was listed as having a queen bed, 2 singles and a queen sofa bed. What it actually had was a queen bed (which was comfy, clean, enough blankets, all good), a sofa bed which wasn’t great to sleep on, and one small thin mattress over a slab of wood basically which was meant to be one of the single beds, and no second single bed.
