"If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). "This charming family-run property was truly the highlight of our trip! Each day began with a delicious full breakfast and ended with a relaxing soak in the hot springs. Wandering the grounds, we enjoyed visiting the farm animals and spotting native wildlife in their element. "Beautiful property in a forest setting. Rooms are top notch with gorgeous views. Staff was amazing with helpful tips for tours, arranging a personal guide. Restaurant and food was very nice. Great location in the heart of Monteverde!"

"Amazing place and wonderful service! Easy to drive to, a bit of a rocky road but was NOT an issue to get up there. Definitely need a 4x4 SUV so the drive is safe. "

"You cannot beat the views from the property. Staff was super friendly and food was really good. They have a good breakfast with variety of options. It is about 10 minutes from town so you would need a car or to get a taxi every time you go. Ubers are cheaper. Room was great and spacious, my kids loved the jacuzzi in the room. The only downside is that the tv is out of date and small."
