"Fab hotel with really friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice. An old building with wonky floors, which can’t be helped. Really comfy bed and good shower. WiFi could do with an upgrade as it’s a little slow and the rooms could do with a few minor paint touch ups but overall great value for money."

"The shower was leaking water in 4 places and difficult to operate. Water ended up going everywhere. The shower was extremely high to step up into. My other coworkers commented on this for their rooms too. The room was never cleaned or freshened up in a Mon- Fri stay. They kept asking for tips at the bar even for one drink?"

"Nice hotel, bit more charm than your traditional chain. All staff notably helpful and friendly. Food was nice in the evening and breakfast (small continental buffet with cook to order hot food) was really good and attractive. "

Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."

"Love this little gem of a hotel. Quirky and all the rooms are very different but always comfortable. Staff are always very helpful and welcoming and breakfast and wifi is included which is a nice touch at this price range. Don't expect 5* or a perfectly maintained hotel but you will have a comfortable and great value stay in a nice location with plenty of free parking. "

"This property is in a quiet village and the local views are stunning. My only criticism is the lack of electronic device charging ports. Many pubs are switching at least the bedside power receptacles to the ones with built in usb ports. Other than this small inconvenience it was perfect "
