"We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. "

"Great weekend away"

"Everything about our visit was straightforward and we really appreciated the late checkout (on request) The Bach owners were very welcoming and the house itself was warm and comfortable. We were grateful for kindling and firewood already by the fire. We loved the comfortable beds, lots of blankets and all the games. Thank you , we will be back. "

"Big and spacious apartment. Very clean and well equipped with the added benefit of a spacious balcony. Only stayed one night but would be more than happy to spend a week here"

"This was an amazing stay at Reen's place. Super cozy and a tranquil environment tucked away in beautiful nature Still close to great activities. Reen is a fabulous host, who is very responsive. Highly recommend."

" The character of the building is interesting, the setting is amazing, great privacy while still being close, access to the beaches is well formed steep track so great if you are able. Access to the house requires use of steps and there are some accessibility challenges. There is everything you could want to enjoy your stay. "

"Such a wonderful part of Golden Bay, close to everything, especially Collingwood, Pakawau and incredible Wharariki Beach and Farewell Spit. Great bach which comfortably accommodated our family. Beautifully located between estuary and beach."

"Excellent location which was peaceful and lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook many of our meals.Great walking beach. Reasonably priced and responsive owner of the property."

"Loved the views in all directions, quick walk to both little Kaiteriteri beach and Kaiteriteri beach. The balcony areas were lovely with loads of seating, very clean and tidy. Inside the house it was very clean and tidy too! Very comfortable beds and pillows, lovely showers and a beautiful dinning table.Very clear instructions given for everything and great communication from host.We would stay again, loved it!"

" A lovely 2 bedroom cottage with all the amenities needed. The beds are comfortable, as was the sofa for watching TV. I do like a washcloth, but most cottages don’t have them. And some face tissue would have been nice, but overall a lovely stay. Great communication, no problem getting in or finding it. The pub down the road serves great food and a general store very close by. A coffee shop a little further opens at 8 with excellent scones"
