"We arrived and were personally greeted by Steve. I’ve been too many accommodations in my life and I have never had a host like Steve. He was absolutely superb. We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. "

"Stayed here with our family of 5 and loved the place. Right at the beach for the kids to explore. Lots of amenities in the house to make it comfortable.Emma was really helpful and great with communication when we needed anything. Would recommend /stay again! :) "

" The character of the building is interesting, the setting is amazing, great privacy while still being close, access to the beaches is well formed steep track so great if you are able. Access to the house requires use of steps and there are some accessibility challenges. There is everything you could want to enjoy your stay. "

"It was very difficult to get the key out of the key box. we couldn't open the back keybox as instructed but eventually able to get the front keybox open."

"Such a wonderful part of Golden Bay, close to everything, especially Collingwood, Pakawau and incredible Wharariki Beach and Farewell Spit. Great bach which comfortably accommodated our family. Beautifully located between estuary and beach."
