"Property was lovely, well equipped with all that one requires, beach on doorstep. It was very peaceful, no traffic noise and so forth. Beach pristine. Travelling to see other places on the island we found (being in a sedan car) was tiring (on the gravel roads to and from the property). Yes one is in the centre so to speak and could visit one day to the left and next to right.KI has amazing places to see. All in all we had a great time. Thank you."

"Excellent accommodation, comfortable spacious house in a peaceful quiet location. Very well set up. Close to Kingscote, 15 minute drive and central location, easy drive to most sights on KI. Loved walking on the beach every evening watching the sun set. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at White Shells, KI. The house was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Kevin and Sue."

"Amazing stay! Amani house was a wonderful place to come home to at the end of our long days exploring KI. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. Our whole crew loved the walking labyrinth and yard games as well. Gardens were beautiful!! To top it off, the sunrises were stunning!"

"Kingscote has the basic essentials (Eg supermarket, bakery, petrol, restaurants), and is great base for exploring the island. Char’s place is very clean, comfortable, spacious, on a very large block. Very quiet. The hosts are great advisers of what to do / not to do etc. Lovely. "

"Our room was really comfortable and very homely but tastefully decorated at the same time. Good bed and good cooking facilities. The kitchen was well stocked. We had beautiful gum trees with koalas right near our door. American River is a great location as its half way between Penneshaw and Kingscote. We really enjoyed our stay."
