"Probably best location on the island, the house was surrounded by kangaroos and wallabies, we enjoyed them every night coming close to the house. The house is nice, clean, modern, very well equipped, we also received a lovely welcome gift. Everything about the house and the host was 10/10. Thank you! "

"This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly."

"From the moment we turned town the driveway to Wedgetail Down we felt like we were in a movie set. The property is stunning and Betty and Peter thought of every detail and little touch to make us feel welcome. Everything you need to cook and bbq is there, the bed is so comfortable, the rain shower so nice after a long day of hiking. The house is fascinating and absolutely gorgeous. "The apartment was easy to get to and was great as a home base as we explored the island. It was clean and tidy when we got there and the owners were great to talk to and helpful with any problems we had. Would rent these apartments again next time we go there."

"We stayed at the property for 3 nights with kids and it was great. Step out of the property and there’s the Esplanade. The owner had thankfully stocked jam, milk, vegemite, cereals etc as well which was very handy - there was always food when the kids got hungry at odd hours and most places were closed due to Easter long weekend. Highly recommend! "

"Excellent accommodation, comfortable spacious house in a peaceful quiet location. Very well set up. Close to Kingscote, 15 minute drive and central location, easy drive to most sights on KI. Loved walking on the beach every evening watching the sun set. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at White Shells, KI. The house was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Kevin and Sue."

"Location is great and place is nicely set up open plan layout with pool table which the kids loved. The only issue we had was the general cleanliness of the place it could really use a good clean. Rugs and floor mats also need replacing. These things bring down the experience of an otherwise nice property."

"2 couples for 4 nights- we Loved the spaciousness & location of this home. Linen & beds could be updated. We were shocked to discover we had accidentally almost caused a fire in the appliance cupboard (damage) and Dwayne was wonderful & understanding about the whole matter."
