"We loved our stay - the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need - including great bedside lights. Away from the crazy bustle of the town. The view was absolutely stunning - both of the Bay of Islands and the bush. Even got visited by a Morepork one night :). Loved it here - would highly recommend."

"Very pleasant and it is surrounded by nature and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The fire place was very effective. Just a great experience and we highly recommend."

"We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage"

"Our team of 15 teachers stayed for one night while up North on a professional development weekend. The house was a convenient location and a good size. Our only disappointment was that some rooms were locked meaning that our teachers had to share beds. We had anticipated that the entire house would be available to us and therefore extra beds and bedrooms in the cottage. Other than that we had a lovely stay. The home is spacious with a lovely garden outlook. The kitchen is very basically equipped...

"Great for a quiet family stay. Beautiful grounds and interesting house. Tania and Banjo were lovely and welcoming. Beds are comfy and it was lovely having breakfast on the deck and playing cards on the outside table. Thank you for a lovely stay"

"Fantastic cottage with everything we needed, including some games and story books for the kids. Room to kick a ball around, chickens to visit and dogs to play fetch with. Happy memories. We look forward to coming back again one day."

"Good central location for the places we wanted to visit. Perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day. Nice to have milk in the fridge to make a hot drink on arrival. Everything was perfect for us."

"Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper."

"A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail."

"Nostalgic Privilege! 280 degree front views of the moana, acres of lush green yonder with hahi, urupā, te waka aa kaihao and peaceful tranquility. Pickering Cottage stay was clean, with cosy nooks, traditional cuboards and their fittings, slanted walls, drift wood curtain rods and door handles. Traditional side draws and dining furnisher, no wall paper present with my favourite being the wide KAURI floors. WOW!! Enjoyed the huge washing utility room that housed everything from washing...

"We loved staying at this lovely home. The views and the facilities were fabulous and the sense of space were just what we needed for our wider family group. It was fun to explore the area and handy with the car ferry so nearby. Thanks Adelaide for all your care in making this a great stay."

"Nestling in an orange orchard, DoLittle Cottage is a superb place for a relaxing break. Claes is a great host and you are made to feel very welcome upon arrival (including oranges in the fruit bowl). The accommodation is clean and very well appointed with all of the essential amenities. This is a gem in the Kerikeri area and I would highly recommend this accommodation to any solo traveller or couple. DoLittle Cottage should not be missed."
