"I booked this hotel for a last minute mini break for myself and my best friend. The hotel was the cheapest i could find with decent reviews so we decided to go for it. The pub is quirky and welcoming, with a selection of board games, the hotel is dated but all in order and well kept. My ONLY criticism is that the bath room had had a wipe over but i don't believe it had had a decent deep clean in a while. Otherwise, for the price, it was brilliant. "Staff were super friendly. Room great Lunch club sandwich delicious. Continental breakfast was pretty sparse as items not replenished, asked staff member for hot water for tea, a few other basic items also. Once we’d had those couple there was nothing for the next people… not worth the price for sure. Otherwise really liked the hotel. "

"Great communication and quick replies, all the relevant details were sent through with photos of how to access the apartment. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need in it. Comfortable sofa and bed, all seemed very new and well looked after, it was perfect! Nice and quiet and we had great nights sleep, we stayed 2 nights and it was perfect! We highly recommended this apartment and would stay again! Thanks so much! "

"The location for this hotel works really well for the city. I enjoyed exploring the canal network nearby. The actual building itself is stylish, the underground parking worked really well and I didn't think that £15 for 24 hours was expensive. Unfortunately only one lift to the accommodation was working... And this was creaking and groaning a lot! The room was simple but spacious and comfortable. The only negative for me was the lack of a safe in the room. I would stay here again."

"Absolutely great stay… called after booking to ask about check in as we were at an event in town and would be there before check in and maybe late back… could not fault the response from Brian and his team… absolutely superb service. Rooms are functional and represented excellent value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. If you are after a no frills excellent value for money stay with friendly landlord then you won’t go far wrong. "
