I was there during the hottest days of the year so far and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A fan was provided on the second night just because the aircon took a while to start up - I'd strongly recommend getting a second key to keep the electrics running whilst you are out. The reception area was clean, spacious and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They showed us where we were on a map and pointed out nearby attractions, including directions to the Utilita Arena where we were attending an event. "Fantastic service from the moment we arrived we were offered an upgrade which whilst it sounded great actually was in a smaller bed than the original room that we had booked. Although the room was considered to be an upgrade we decided to decline that offer, due to this. Moving back into our originally booked room was seen as no problem at all from the staff who are with us within just a couple of minutes to put us back into our original room with the larger bed. "The room and bathroom were clean. The bathroom was poorly planned and difficult to use. There was no shower enclosure or demarkation (even a sill or ledge on the floor to keep the water somewhat contained would have been helpful). The rainhead shower and the shower wand sprayed the entire room. There are no hooks to hang up your towels. The bathroom is small and the lighting is dim. "I really like this place. THe only negative was that there is no USB port in the room, or anywhere in the carpark to charge an electric vehicle. Parking is easy and plentiful. Breakfast is great. Din't actually meet a single member of staff except in the pub (where they were very pleasant) - so i cannot really comment on the staff. It would be ice to actually see someone or have the facility to ask a question etc"
