"I was upgraded to a harbour view room in building one from a car park view - so that was very grateful. But I more looked at an overgrown tree that obscured any Harbour view. The first door in building one to my door was humid and wet. Rusty stain running down the door on the inside. Room was two twin beds pushed together, but side tables not rearranged space wise so obvious they had just pushed the beds together. Booked on Expedia so no daily servicing of the room. "We had a nice day until we reach this place and wanted to check in. The receptionist/ the person handles the check in was very rude, very unprofessional and very unwelcoming - not hospitable knowing they are in hospitality industry. Dealing with a loss with a family doesn't give you the right to treat your guests bad."

"The hotel was clean and well-designed and stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in & out process was quick and easy. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The bed & pillow was very comfortable. The swimming pool was really good especially the parasols and the swimming bed colour were super nice (instagrammable colours around the hotel). "

"Room tidy, but very small. Good location, close to lots of restaurants and pubs. Good parking if you have a car. Staff were amazing. Especially the manager. Our bathroom probably needed a deep clean. We had shower moths buzzing around which was a bit yucky. Also a few marks in the grout maybe. I’ve attached pictures. Housekeeping comes quite late, our room wasn’t done at 3:30pm. They did knock on our door to see if we needed anything though. "

"Lovely clean refurbished rooms, superb air con. Seahaven is an older resort, hence it is quite cost effective to stay. The breakfast staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to assist. Will definitely be back. "

"Be wary when handing over a cash security deposit. I checked out early before reception was open. Called them about the security deposit and they said they'd return the security deposit onto my card or bank transfer it. I flew out of Townsville thinking my security deposit would be refunded that day. I called them up after flying home to confirm the return of my security deposit. A different girl answered the phone & said they can't return cash. They would hold my money in a client account at...
