"Amazing little place. We actually live in Ryarsh and now live abroad and wanted somewhere local. This place was a gem. Staff were amazing, accommodation, and food was fab as well (breakfast included).
Accommodation was very nice, we could easily have stayed here for a few nights. Thanks for a short sweet stay! We will be back"

"The room was hotter than the sun, the fan provided did nothing and even the floor felt hot. The towels and sink had hairs on them. The room had one plug socket and it was nowhere near the bed. The temperature of the shower couldn’t be controlled, it was extremely hot in the room so I turned on only the cold tap and when I switched it to shower it would still come out hot and change temperature frequently and I couldn’t control it."

"Didn’t expect much with the price (and the main photo is of a service station Costa) but just need a quick stop off. Really loud room, it was facing away from the motorway, but nicely has air conditioners (or something) in a court yard outside the window . About 3 hrs sleep. Lady on reception was great though, didn’t get a name, but she was the shiny light in tired old hotel (ask if they’re hiring at the Mercury 😉)"

"A lovely traditional pub within striking distance of many beautiful places. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action.
All in all if you're looking for perfection and a name brand hotel for your...

"The house has rooms which are let and reminded me of a hostel. The web description of what I paid for did not tally with the room I was offered. I found I had a room on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom, an air conditioning unit which was not working, but a fan which was. The bathroom was well ventilated by a Velux window. The communal areas and staircase were not smart.
The room was clean and had a kettle, tea & coffee etc. Given the price relative to local hotels it was OK for value....

"My stay at the Mercure Hotel in Pembury was okay. My room was on the ground floor and adequate. The bathroom was very clean and cleaned for the three days that I stayed there. The bed was made and the room was clean daily and I have no complaints about it. The room was adequate for my needs..
The only slight grumble I have is that I did not find the staff very friendly. Sometimes there was nobody on reception at all and when I went to check out, I couldn’t see anybody around and was unable to...
