Breakfast was a good continental breakfast (best croissants I have tasted in a long time), and they provided bags etc. for grab-and-go. "We had difficulty in regulating the temperature in our room as this can be controlled only by making a request to reception. It would be preferable if guests were able to regulate the temperature from their own room."

"Great check in experience. Got there before 1pm and my room was ready. The staff ran through all I needed to know about the hotel and virtually took me to my room. The room was clean and comfortable, which had a small kitchenette. Nice to have a Nespresso machine, great touch. I had a great nights sleep in a lovely bed, what more could you want. "Room was dated. Curtains off hooks, dirty marks on carpet and window ledges dirty/ dusty. Most disappointing was the condition of the bed. Both my husband and I are a small build and lightweight and could feel the springs in the mattress. Also the bed was like sleeping on a trampoline if either one of us moved. The heating in the bathroom was permanently on so we had to sleep with the window door open . The Roman blind was also difficult to put down so gave up. Staff at reception were...

"The bed was far too small - I didn't get a decent night's sleep there due to that. There was a power socket on only one side of the bed - very inconvenient. The wi-fi was very good but very fiddly to connect to. We were charged to park there - this is just grasping. The single lift was glacially slow. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant apart from the woman on reception when we checked out - she was abrupt to the point of rudeness."
