"One of the most unforgettable experiences lately, room was newly renovated, very comfortable and had an amazing view to the college courtyard. Breakfast was way better than the ones in 4-star London hotels and the breakfast room is like out of Harry Potter books. Big thanks to the staff and Jesus college. They truly took us to our good old college times."

Breakfast was a good continental breakfast (best croissants I have tasted in a long time), and they provided bags etc. for grab-and-go. Basic amenities were provided for self catering - I would recommend that the hotel replace the coffee table in the room with a small dining or bistro table."

"We had difficulty in regulating the temperature in our room as this can be controlled only by making a request to reception. It would be preferable if guests were able to regulate the temperature from their own room."

"I didnt like that we had to pay for parking I wasn't given information on wifi The fire alarm going off at 1am Children running round the corridor at 3.30am Even tho check out at 11am,the car had to be moved by 10am. Awful nights sleep Awful welcome,awful stay"

"It did what it said on the tin! Clean, welcoming, very comfy bed, bottle of water, proper milk and perfect location for us. Glad I took earplugs as a tad noisy outside (t’was the WE though). Ate dinner there too, which suited us to a T. "

"I'd booked this weekend for my boyfriend's birthday. Great location, small room, clean other than a hair in the shower upon entering. Shower was terrible, had to use the hand attachment which would make hair washing tricky. Toilet constantly trying to fill up (did mention shower & toilet to receptionist, but there was no improvement). I'd also asked for something to be left in the room for my boyfriends birthday & exoected to pay, but this was nlt done. "

"The bed was far too small - I didn't get a decent night's sleep there due to that. There was a power socket on only one side of the bed - very inconvenient. The wi-fi was very good but very fiddly to connect to. We were charged to park there - this is just grasping. The single lift was glacially slow. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant apart from the woman on reception when we checked out - she was abrupt to the point of rudeness."

"Room was dated. Curtains off hooks, dirty marks on carpet and window ledges dirty/ dusty. Most disappointing was the condition of the bed. Both my husband and I are a small build and lightweight and could feel the springs in the mattress. Also the bed was like sleeping on a trampoline if either one of us moved. The heating in the bathroom was permanently on so we had to sleep with the window door open . The Roman blind was also difficult to put down so gave up. Staff at reception were...
