"The room was crazy tiny. It was barely wider than the length of the bed. However, it did the job and put in me in the heart of historic Boston at a very reasonable price. I loved the common area with various games, snacks and a bar. My only complaint was the room thermoelectric (Peltier) refrigerator. It couldn't cool anything."

"Clean, quiet room; great restaurant on site; close to the harbor; walkable to many historical sites and tourist attractions. Just one and a half blocks to the harbor tours and to pick up the hop on,hop off trolleys. We would stay there again!!"

"Warm welcome and lovely large room with great shower. Loved the cookies and fruit along with hot drinks available at any time. Very generous in these days of having to pay extra for breakfast. Property is full of historic charm. Highly recommended and a decent price. "

"This hotel remains the class of Boston hotels. The staff noticed my kids brought some card games, so dropped a board game and fresh deck of cards in our room. They noticed we looked low on toothpaste and were one toothrbush short (whoops), so dropped off a dental kit and some toothpaste. Their lobster roll can go toe to toe with any in the city. The pool, and view of the Public Gardens from it, are iconic. "

"We absolutely enjoyed how easy it was to walk to dinner or the Museum of Science. We had 3 kids with us ages 3-9 and they absolutely enjoyed the pool, walking the freedom trail which was outside the trail and the two playgrounds right by the hotel. The breakfast had wonderful choices. Staff was helpful & quick to respond. Walking to the North End is easy. We plan to stay here again in the spring. Very family friendly & quiet, too."
