This vacation home rental in Winter Park has one of the best location and views available which is right in the middle of downtown Winter Park in the popular Hideaway Station neighborhood. The condos in this building are located on the second floor of the building and bedrooms within the condo are upstairs with a total of 2 flights of stairs including the stairs to reach the residences on the 2nd floor and the bedrooms upstairs within the condo. Walk right outside your door and enjoy fantastic mountain restaurants, shopping, night life, trail system for hiking and biking, and various scheduled events and concerts in the Town's new Hideaway Park amphitheater area. The Fireside Market is also next door for all of your grocery shopping. Winter Park Resort is only 5 minutes away and the FREE resort shuttle next to the building will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities.

Just down the street is the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a water slide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. The popular recreational areas of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are only a 30 minute drive, making for an exceptional rocky mountain accommodation.

Great location and amenities

Our stay was excellent. The nearest shuttle bus was right in front of the condo and almost every shuttle passed our place making transportation to the ski slopes efficient. The best restaurants were in walking distance (recommend Hernando’s pizza). It was wonderful having a locker for our gear (although small) and our kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The place was also stocked with laundry detergent, paper towels, etc. Our one complaint is that our entire group of guests developed hot tub folliculitis…gross! And there’s no easy number to contact to inform the host since all communication is via a company. Otherwise, check in and check out was easy and we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

Really nice place, convenient location - could walk to restaurants and shops. Nicely centrally located to activities around town (resort, biking, hiking, white water rafting). Place was quite new, well kept, clean. Great coffee shop downstairs became our daily ritual. Grocery store right next door made it quite convenient. One warning - the place does not have AC, which is likely normally not at a problem. Opening the windows and running the fans cools the place quite nicely. But, because it was particularly hot while we were there - we had to keep the windows open at night - and there was quite a bit of noise - from neighboring units and the parking lot below. Not a problem for us, and didn't ruin our trip. But, if you are highly noise sensitive, something to think about.

Weekend Getaway during COVID

The property was beautifully fabulous! It was very clean(especially important during COVID). Walking distance to dinner, grocery store and liquor store. Beautiful walking paths behind and several hiking trails behind the condo as well. Very easy to communicate with property manager. 35 minute drive to Granby and boat rentals.

Great home base in Winter Park

We had a nice time staying at this property. It was Central to everything including restaurants and hiking trails. Everything was new and very clean. There is construction currently going on on the first floor which did wake us a few mornings but, otherwise, we had a wonderful time here.
