"The house is in a great location. Just minutes from base. It's the perfect size for big groups, and well stocked. The pictures look good online, however; in person the house needs some deep cleaning and paint has just been thrown on things in a hurry, I'm sure for faster rentals. The person before us left old meat wrapped in foil in the upper cabinets. I think the cleaning crew must have cleaned in a hurry just by the looks of the house. "This property has a lot of potential but it needs some TLC and organization. The furniture, layout, and decor were nice but it needs a major deep cleaning. The floors made your feet black if you didn't have shoes on, the tubs needed to be scrubbed, and there were dust and cobwebbs everywhere. None of the ceiling fan lights worked in the bedrooms, and the living room and dining room were very dark, even at night. Definitely need new/brighter bulbs. "The house was very secluded and on a decent amount of land which was nice. We were able to put both big trucks and two boat trailers on driveway no problem. The cove that this house is in was very nice and secluded, fishing was good. There were tons a deer that came through the property. The house was clean overall. They have wasp killer in the pantry. We didn’t realize that until the end but definitely bring it down to the dock with you as there were some wasps. Also Saturday and Sunday...

"Rhe pictures do not do it justice. So very cute and cozy. The rooms are very roomy and the ceiling height is at least 9' which really makes the rooms feel bigger. Two tv's in opposite sides of the house. Great little fire pit picnic bench if you want to eat out side. There is a second rental above the garage so the driveway is shared plenty of parking for both units (2 cars per unit). We stayed for our soldiers graduation at Fort Jackson justv12 minutes away to the gate. Also 30 second walk...
