"You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo...

"The photos don't lie, this place is pristine. Nice amenities were included. We typically bring things like aluminum foil, zip bags, etc , but the host thought of everything we might need. Very convenient. Easy to get to waterfront restaurant and bars, just 3 blocks away."

"Our second stay and it was just as great as the first. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Not a cookie cutter rental! Beautiful private waterfront location. The Osprey nest was active with mom and a baby. Five families of geese sailed by almost every day. Kayaking here is superb. The hosts are easy to reach and extremely helpful. I can’t wait to come again next year!"

The town has plenty to do and is rich with historical significance. We were visiting family who live here. We had a great time. We highly recommend this home as an excellent place to stay. "
