Check out this recently face-lifted family retreat in the heart of Williams Bay! The home has been modernized with high-end finishes but maintains queues of its original rustic charm. Ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood just a half mile from the lake, making for an enjoyable daily walk to the beach and local restaurants! Williams Bay is quickly emerging as the preferred family lodging location in the Geneva Lake area due to it's slightly less crowded feel and close proximity to Downtown Lake Geneva dining and shopping. Stroll down to Gage Marine (Pier 290) and catch a boat tour to learn about the historic mansions dotting the Geneva shoreline, or choose to set off on a segment of the 22-mile shore path and check them out yourself! The home sits on a generously-sized lot, so pack all the yard games! Plenty of driveway parking to trailer in a boat before heading to the launch just down Geneva Street. This property is also pet friendly for a fee! Please inquire!

The updated Bay bungalow checks in at just shy of 2,500 square feet with 4 bedrooms (including a loft) and two full baths. The open-concept main floor, featuring the beautifully finished kitchen, provides ample space to prep meals and enjoy family time as you begin and end your vacation days. Bedrooms one and two can be found on the primary floor, each housing a queen bed with a full bath between them. Head up the spiral staircase to the loft to find two twin beds- a great option for younger travelers or those who don't mind a bunk mate! A fully finished basement with an entertainment space is sure to come in handy for families with kids. The final bedroom (queen) and a full bath can also be found in the basement for the late sleepers.

Overall, it was a great place to stay for the weekend. We really enjoyed the fire pit and screened porch in the back backyard. Space in general was very nice for kids and pets.The biggest complaint we had were that there were dead bugs everywhere inside the house on the floor, especially in the basement area. I found myself sweeping a couple times a day to get rid of them.The water and ice maker in the fridge also did not work, so it’s a good thing that we brought ice. Would’ve been nice to be informed of this before we got there although they did leave us a case of water which was nice.The garden beds were full of weeds, it was very obvious that the place was not being maintained very well outside.The driveway is also questionable, as on both sides of the driveway there’s a steep drop off to the yard that can make it tricky for parking, or getting in and out of your car. Be careful! Overall, the place was clean, and the description was accurate. A little more attention to detail, maintenance inside and out would make it even better!

This home was very clean, cozy, and comforting for our weekend away. We had enough seating to sit and relax while chatting or playing cards, and when we were tired, we each had our own room! We had a relaxing time in this well-stocked home! We thank you for this amazing weekend!

Amazing Property and Hosts!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this property and the hosts! We had an absolutely amazing time! It was the cleanest Vrbo property we've ever stayed in. Plus they thought of everything you'd need for your stay. And on top of that it was cute as a button! Lots of outdoor space with 2 porches and a fire pit. The gazebo with swings was one of my teenager's favorite spots. Especially at night with the lights on. 2 gas fireplaces too. A couple things to note on the layout. There is only one room that has a door you can close for privacy. That room features a queen bed, the laundry area, back door to outside and the only full bath in the home. Up the spiral staircase are two more spaces plus a half bath between them.Neither of these rooms have a door you can close for privacy but they still feel private. For a family like ours it was no big deal and it added to the charm of the cabin. If you are looking for rooms with total privacy this is not the property for you.All spaces were spacious with comfortable beds and bedding. One of the upstairs rooms had a privacy screen that helped too! One other thing to point out. The ceilings are low in spots upstairs because of the design of the cabin. Again for us it added to the charm and we are tall people. However if this is something that would bother you it's not the cabin for you. None of this affected our stay but I know it can for others. The hosts were amazing and available. They even gave us a farm tour! We'll be back!!
