Just minutes from Loafers Bend Park at Lake Whitney! Plenty of parking. This comfy/roomy 28 ft Sprinter with slide out is perfect for 2/4 people with a NICE queen-sized bed, pull-out loveseat and dining area, stocked kitchen, outdoor kitchen, and shower with a full roomy bathroom. The dining area was made into a bed perfect for kiddos. Your home away from home is hooked up at Whitney Rose RV Park. It is new and clean with full hookups, so there is no need to fret about pulling it anywhere. Just bring your personal belongings and food. If you need anything, we are located adjacent to the property. TV that is loaded with Prime and Netflix and free WiFi. We encourage you to bring up to 2 dogs if well-behaved; they will love the enclosed dog park just steps from the door of your camper. This is a perfect spot for someone who wants to enjoy Lake Whitney, Hillsboro, or the 30-minute backroad drive to all of the cool places in Waco!

  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Very nice little park, owner are super nice, and the trailer was plenty warm in below freezing.

NICE

The owners were very accommodating. There were some simple issues but were addressed immediately. The area had seen flooding and the State Park as well as the Corp of Engineer Park were closed but this is site was safe and sound. I would stay here again when visiting Lake Whitney.
