"We stayed here last weekend with our in-laws to visit family and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The staff are really nice, I can only mention by name Jonathan on reception who was very helpful but all the other staff on reception were also lovely as well as the bar staff and chambermaids. We had two rooms just above the discotheque which is open at weekends and the night receptionist told us to expect a bit of noise but to be honest we were so whacked out it wasn't a problem. We...

"Great stay at Stay Coastal. Team was great with help getting checked in. While check in on hotels.com says 3 the hotel says it is 4pm so plan accordingly. They were very kind letting us check in at 3 instead as I had a call to be on which was very kind. Super great stay in a great neighbourhood close to the metro. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. "

"For the most part this is a truly excellent family run guest house and I can definitely recommend this spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well appointed place to stay in the quiet residential area of the town. The house is located midway between the town centre with its public transport interchange and the seafront with its attraction and beach both are about 10 to 15 minute walk away."

"Lovely room with fantastic view. Very pleasant staff. Food was excellent. A little chaotic over staffing levels to cover bars. Sign would say a bar was closed and to use the other bar in the restaurant but when you went to that bar there were no staff working on it. They had to leave the restaurant to serve the drinks. Have stayed on a number of occasions and will definitely book again."

"We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. "This is a wonderful property right in the middle of Jesmond walking to the park. Staff are helpful and polite. Room was good size and comfortable nothing extraordinary though. Obviously this is an old house and in some cases it shows its age. Note it’s a 8-10 min drive to town so not walking to central Newcastle. There’s public transport which can take about half an hour or a bit more. But is worth the stay for its proximity to the park. "

"Stayed here for a wedding in nearby Morpeth and was well impressed. The owner and her family were superb hosts, and nothing wax too much trouble. Breakfast superb, rooms clean and comfy, and 72 free parking round the back of the property make it a great base for a long weekend to explore the area. Would happily return!"
