"Clean room, nice spa"

"Check in was a breeze, straight up to my clean and warm room. As it is at a services there are options for you evening meal. Had a comfy bed and a good sleep. Woke up early to a tasty breakfast buffet so plenty to eat and a good variety. Everything you need forba short stay. "

"The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight for us were the friendly and helpful staff in every department from checking in, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and those in the Spa. We were very impressed, you choose your staff well, 1st class. We really enjoyed spending the day in the Spa, excellent pool. "

"Rooms here are great, each one is quirky in their own way, and a lovely touch to have radio playing in room as background music on arrival. The 2 ladies that greeted us on arrival were welcoming and showed us all (4 guests) to our rooms. Evening meal in the bar was great too, cold and frosty outside, the pub reminded me as something out of The Holiday!!!"

"Breakfast wasn’t that great. Scrambled egg very overcooked and bacon appeared only cooked on one side and underdone. Receptionist was excellent and very helpful and kind offering an upgrade at a reduce price. Room was superb. "

"I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this...

An incredible property rich in history, with a modern, well-equipped room to compliment it. Food options were extensive and delicious. Breakfast was great, very high quality, and very attentive staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "
