"Lovely hotel set in its own grounds , food was excellent , Great for a peaceful break away ."

"The room was very comfortable, the staff friendly and the swimming pool was the perfect temperature. We didn't use the gym. The hotel is within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from Headingly Cricket Ground (which is why we were in Leeds). We were in the bar watching the football for England v Croatia in the World Cup, but the service was still fast and there was a great atmosphere too."

"Room was good. Bed was comfortable. Oddly not enough spoons or cups laid for breakfast so we along with others had to take them from unoccupied tables. Paying for anything other than a simple black or white coffee at breakfast is really stingy. Great that they had EV charging points"

"Great location right next to the train station and not far to walk to shops and restaurans. Friendly staff. Room is spacious and was ideal as it had a fridge and air con and the temp was 30 degrees outside so we got to go back and relax in the room with the air con. Stayed here a few times now and would highly recommend."

"We were very surprised to walk into our room and see the cricket ground outside. Not a fan of cricket myself. But it was nice to see something other than a car park out the window."

"Value for money hotel. Fixtures and fittings are tired but the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Great value cooked breakfast for £7. Road a bit noisy. We were able to leave our car behind the building for the day which was great. If stairs are an issue/heavy luggage pays to be aware you might have a few flights of steps to climb depending on your room! Staff very helpful and friendly."

"Breakfast was cooked fresh & good. Staff were excellent. Treated my elderly Mum like the Queen she is. Bag drop off & disabled parking all excellent. Easily walk into town. Bar small but good. Managed to fit us all in to watch England play! Great place to stay, staff make you feel as if you are the only people there. "
