"Gorgeous old pub with lovely dining room and exceptionally good food. Nicely appointed rooms in converted out buildings with thoughtful touches. Incredible views over the South Downs. Only negative was poor sleep in soft bed."

"The room was small. Only small semi-circular shelves either side of the bed. Not bedside tables. We only had one bath towel and one bath sheet between us. There were no complimentary toiletries. Tea, coffee and milk and fresh mugs not replaced during our 3 night stay. There were no curtains and a blind that did not keep out the light.
