"Nice hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. The only downside is the location — the surrounding neighborhood didn’t feel very safe to walk around at night, so we relied on taxis in the evenings. Overall, a good stay if you plan your transportation ahead."

"Easy parking. Remember this is an efficiency so nothing but the essentials: clean sheets, towels, toilet and shower. I suggest asking for a room at the back as it can get noisy out front! The breakfast is great so take the breakfast. Finding a sitdown restaurant within walking which is open before 8pm is tough. Locals are quite reserved like Parissians!"

"Beautiful converted convent recently refurbished to a high standard. Simple rooms with high quality bedding and towels.. Bottled water was provided as well as toiletries. Breakfast was good value and the lounges comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated The staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is just a few minutes from the town with bars and restaurants and a few metres from the botanic garden and castle viewpoint . "

"I had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Zenit Bilbao. The location is excellent, with nearby bus and tram links making it very easy to get around. Bilbao itself is very walkable, and there are plenty of great bars and restaurants within easy reach of the hotel. The hotel is very comfortable, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. They really make you feel at ease during your stay. The food was good overall, although I felt there could have been a wider selection of hot options at breakfast. All in all, it’s a good hotel and particularly suitable for solo travellers looking for comfort, convenience, and a great base to explore the city."
