"Lovely staff - so thoughtful and accommodating! I arrived early, coming immediately from a very long & tiring international flight. I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. I have some food, allergies and they were able to work within those restrictions, and provide delicious fresh flavorful meals. "A great find, with much nicer rooms than the pictures suggest. Lovely friendly staff and one of the best buffet breakfasts I’ve had. The pool and sauna/ steam room are great too. Felt much more premium than some of the expensive Spa hotels we’ve stayed at and much better vaue. Will definitely book again when in the area. "

"Fast check in, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. It's not the fanciest hotel in the world, but it isn't claiming to be. Good range of tea/coffee in the room, comfy bed, and easy to use air conditioning in the room. Walking distance to a small town centre with lots of food options, and literally next door to a petrol station if you just wanted a snack. Would definitely stay again."

"Wingrove House is a welcoming small hotel in the heart of the historic village of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way. It has been sympathetically restored to make it a comfortable, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. There is a comfortable lounge and I enjoyed sitting there with a book in the evening. Breakfast was also delicious and the restaurante service was great."
