"We booked 3 nights to spend some time with family in both North and South Carolina. Dellene is a delighit! it was like staying with a friend. Her pups are precious and welcomed our girl as one of the family. The sounds of the river and her beautiful windchimes make it sound like you are in heaven. I would definitely come back to visit again."

"We didn't want to leave!! Such an amazing place in a really great town. The Caboose was so warm and cozy. It has everything we needed. The rooftop deck was so great in the evenings. A great little piece history. I have already recommended it to all our friends."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at this home. Had everything we needed and close to everything! Some of our family came by and we enjoyed cooking out on the grill and watching bunnies, white squirrels and chipmunks playing around the yard!! Great place and would definitely go back!!"

"Our family enjoyed our weekend away at Bruce’s place! The hot tub and massage chair was wonderful after a long day of hiking. Quick drive to hiking and mtb trails, groceries and restaurants. Enjoyed the location on the creek as well."

"Very nice lake house. We have stayed several times and keep returning as we enjoy the house, private safe area, and access to a boat dock. We enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking and it provides easy access into the lake. We would recommend highly."

"We feel lucky to have found this charming farm cottage. It is immaculately clean and well decorated. We enjoyed meeting the owner and learning the history of the farm. Our visits to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, and Brevard were just a few miles away. After a busy day, it was wonderful to relax on the porch and take in the view. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you for a great visit."

"We fell in love even more with this listing in person. It was absolutely perfect for our elopement. It was so peaceful to hear the nearby waterfalls and creeks. The kids really enjoyed themselves. We plan to come back many times! Check in was super easy, house was very clean, the hosts were so accommodating and just wonderful people."

"This VRBO was about 15 minutes out of our way but way worth it! We slept comfortably in the creatively decorated finished basement. There was even amazing fireplace, kitchen area ( mini refrigerator and sink ), workout gym and big spacious rooms. We got in later than we expected and would have loved to see a sunset. It was peaceful and we felt very safe. It was very clean and I hope to come back asap. Although I thought we were staying on the main level, we were happy with our accommodations....
