"Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected."

"It was a little tricky to find initially as we arrived in the dark. The Barn has been tastefully furnished an absolute stylish kitchen and living area with lots of room. It was spotless. The bedrooms were of a good size. The only negative were the beds. They were ok but having a bad back and shoulder I do need a good mattress that supports. I do not sleep well with a bed too hard or bouncy. The outside area is lovely , however due to being away for most of the weekend and than rain we did not...

"The old stable entspricht genau der Beschreibung im Inserat. Bett bequem, aber nicht für besonders große Menschen geeignet, Dusche ist relativ eng, ansonsten Alles super, Küche sehr gut für eine Fewo ausgestattet (Waschmaschine haben wir nicht genutzt). Terrasse/Garten sind schön angelegt und abgeschlossen, so dass unser Hund sich frei bewegen konnte."

"We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all."

"What a fantastic find! I've stayed on the Roseland peninsula before and visited many times, but Portloe really is in a class of its own. Farm Cottage was delightful - a real home from home. It's patently clear that many happy times have been spent here and ours was just another chapter. The host could not have been nicer, alerting us to events and throughout the week and helping us to unlock the secrets of this charming corner of Cornwall. "Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem kleinen Haus. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr gut. Besonders schön ist die Lage: man befindet sich direkt an dem Wanderweg an der Küste und es sind auch nur ein paar Schritte bis in das hübsche Zentrum des Ortes. Bei gutem Wetter hat man die Gelegenheit sich in dem kleinen hübschen Garten aufzuhalten. Für uns war es in dem Haus sehr schön, man muss aber wissen dass die Einrichtung sehr einfach ist und einiges etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist....

"What a wonderful house and location! Spacious, clean, and well-appointed inside, and a lovely garden to explore outside. The location is quiet and secluded, and ideally situated barely more than a stone's throw from numerous local attractions. The kitchen is really well equipped, bookshelves well stocked, and beds very comfortable. Will (our host) was very responsive prior to and throughout our stay. We hope to stay again next time we visit the area."
