"The onsens are amazing and we did enjoy using them a lot during our stay. Especially the outdoor one provided a fantastic time, the peace and quiet of it makes you feel renewed extremely quickly. "My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kokusai 21. It's a nice and big hotel and the staff were all very kind. The rooms were spacious and clean. They also offer a breakfast buffet for a fee and it's really amazing. It's not easy to find a place to eat in the morning, so having a breakfast buffet in the hotel was really great and convenient. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in Nagano."

"This is an authentic old-style ryokan with welcoming hosts who treat their guests like family. The building is very old and, being wooden construction, creaky and drafty, but also charming.
