"I travel quite a lot, and this Ryokan is the best place I have ever stayed at. The attention to detail and thought put into every piece of the home is impeccable. "This hotel is a hidden gem with helpful and friendly staff. Feels like a b&b with cooked breakfast, games area for adults and kids. The staff went above and beyond - helping us with transport to our next destination, making calls (in Japanese) and driving us to our shuttle connection. Rooms were comfortable and warm. It’s about 10mins from the town centre but they do offer pick up and drop offs from the train, and it makes it quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend! "

"The staff is incredible! The owner, Chris, is so inviting and welcoming as is the rest of the staff. There is a shuttle you can book to take you to the mountains, dinners, train station. The restaurant in the hotel is so good though as well. The rooms are very clean and they offer robes and sandals for the baths / showers. "
