"Ce fut un très beau séjour dans ce magnifique chalet. Très propre et les lits sont très confortable s. Par contre, pour aller visiter plusieurs endroits de la région, nous avons trouvé le trajet en voiture un peu long pour rejoindre la route principale surtout lorsque nous revenions en soirée! "

"The cottage was beautiful, super clean and equipped with everything you need! Janet is a professional hostess and always on hand with advice and assistance. We loved the days, but especially the terrace with the "pets" - the eagle, the fox, the collibris. Hector's Point is highly recommended."

"We stayed there for four nights. Rob and Janet were super gracious and very accommodating. The unit was amazing. The views were spectacular and the pictures did not do that justice. We got to see two bald eagles, sore and perch a top trees within our sight line of the deck and a really cute fox. The animal kind. The only regret was that we couldn’t stay there longer. "

With the patio entrance at the end of the table it offered a refreshing breeze and a beautiful view. "Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."
