"Stayed here one night and it was great. The room was clean and quiet. Our room was facing the peaceful courtyard. The balcony was spacious and perfect for morning coffee. The freeway noise wasn't bad at all from our room's location, and with the balcony door closed, you couldn't hear it at all. Didn't get to use the pool and hot tub, but they looked very nice and clean. The property itself is gorgeous with Spanish tiles and lots of lush plants. I would come back any time I'm in the area!"

"There was 1 staff at check in. It was super slow on a Saturday afternoon. The rooms are clean. The vents in the dinning room were dusty. You can see it. Obvious areas were clean, but some areas were not. The pool was nice. Pretty expensive for a pretty old hotel. The hallways were old looking. Bummed I didn’t get my fire pit patio room bc the fire pit was down. Was upgraded and compensated with free breakfast, but still. Wasn’t as exciting as I hoped."

"We loved this place it was small and our room was cute and very clean. It’s just a bit loud from the freeway noise, but they are aware and I was happy to find a noise reduction machine on the table so you could help drown out the freeway noise with ocean or rain sounds. They also provide ear plugs. We got used to the noise and it really wasn’t a problem. We will stay there again. There are great shops and a cozy restaurant nearby."

"Hideaway was absolutely amazing. What made it even more so was the staff. We arrived earlier than anticipated and was able to remain in the lobby waiting til our room was ready. Gwen and Monique were the best at making us feel relaxed and taken care of. And the breakfast the next morning was delicious! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone. We are already future planning our next trip back because of how welcoming everyone was."
