"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. There are several eateries and snack shops nearby, and parking is quite convenient. This hotel is away from the main town but offers a shuttle several times through the day and it is only a 10 minute ride highly recommend taking a ferry to the island in the middle of Lake Toya. "Check-in was a little odd using a machine, but there was an employee who helped us. The nearby lake was beautiful, although we didn't have the clearest view from our room.
