"The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead."

"Excellent hotel in a beautiful and old building. I believe it was a tea house long ago, now renovated and modernized into a hotel. The staff was very helpful. There are several bus stops nearby, so getting around Kyoto was easy. 7-11 is a few doors down in case you need a quick snack."

"The room was really clean. There were beds for all 4 of us which was great! The air conditioner worked really well. The place was quiet. It isn’t close by any train stations, but walkable to bus stations. So we had to learn to use the bus system. It was really close to shopping and was in a great part of town that had everything we needed. The washer and how to dry the clothes were so easy and written out. We appreciated that so much. They even left us detergent to use while we were there."
