"Great property. Super cozy. Excellent hangout spots for both adults and kids. Daily visits from Swans, Sandhills cranes, geese, heron, kingfishers, pie billed ducks and lots of other birds species. Paddle boat, kayaks, dock and beach were great features we enjoyed a lot. Gas fireplace, Fire pit, grill and a hot tub were also great to have. Big dining table in the middle of everything had gorgeous views of the water and was fgreat for dining, games, drawing and hanging out. "

"We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. " Great location and dock space. went on several boat rides in the evening and the views were fantastic .The fire pit is large enough for several people to have great conversations and laughter. The Vrbo app is a challenge but the host (Tom) was great and I would have gave him a 10 but that wasn't a option. I'm looking forward to another stay next year. Thank you so much Mark"

"This was everything it reports to be. A wonderful property on the edge of a good lake for gentle boating. We wanted for nothing! The check in process is easy, the host provided for so many little needs, and the peace was wonderful. I enjoyed short walks on the trails, paddle boarding and peddle boating around the lake, relaxing in the sunshine both on the porch and on the couch, and sleeping in comfort. I will happily happily return! "
