Dora to enjoy their famous festivals, many dining options, and unique shops. Lake access for paddle or electric only. NO MOTOR

Tavares Cottage

The hosts are awesome!! They live next door. Never intrusive. Very pleasant. House is cute & well appointed. The location worked well for us. Just 20 minutes /- from Mt. Dora (lots of shops) & Leesburg. Area is quiet & relaxing. Would definitely stay again!!

Great place for a get together

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. She wanted to go to downtown Mt. Dora and see the Christmas lights. It was perfect. Many restaurants to chose from. The home is exactly as described. Great location to downtown Mt. Dora. We live just 45 minutes away so it made it a nice weekend getaway.

Lots of room

My wife Diane and I enjoyed our stay. I chose this rental because my son and his girlfriend were supposed to visit us for a few days during our stay. Although he was unable to make it, we did enjoy having lots of room to move around. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything needed to help you feel at home. We had planned to meet Brandy and her husband for lunch, but unfortunately that didn't workout this trip. We would definitely book and stay again, as well as recommending the property to friends and others. Yours Truly, Tony S.

Base Camp

I came down to fish a tournament on the Harris Chain. There was plenty of parking with two trucks with trailers attached. The house is conveniently located to plenty of ramps and tackle shops. Home is clean and well kept up with very comfortable beds.

Fantastic Little Cottage

Place was very cozy and property owner was very quick to respond when messaging. Very quiet spot, very clean, comfortable beds, and an easy location to get to. Our experience was great and we'll be sure to book this cottage again next year.

Lake cottage

This property was exactly as advertised. Check in was a breeze and we had zero issues. The front porch was a great place for a morning cup of coffee and just look out at the lake. This property is centrally located and in the middle of pretty much everything. We will definitely be utilizing this property on our next trip to the area.

Awesome place to stay for the cost and location

I thought the cottage was very nice and had everything we needed. It was great for being able to use the pull thru in the front yard for my Jeep and Boat. The neighborhood was quiet and very easy to access. May rent again in the future for a Florida fishing trip.

Beautiful view of Lake Tavares. Great kitchen, living room with great seating. Bedrooms were private. We were able to relax in comfort after busy days.

Nice property

The home was an older but nicely redone home. It was very clean and family friendly. There is not a dead bolt on the front door and the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock. Other than those 2 things, the home was just as expected. I would recommend to family and friends. Check in process was simple. Quiet neighborhood.
