"Casita Del Mar was the perfect to place to stay in Tamarindo! It is literally steps from the beach and a short walk into Tamarindo. Roger and Pat were excellent hosts. The property is beautiful and very private. It is almost impossible to find something right on the beach so Casita Del Mar is a gem! The casita is well appointed and has everything you need for a fabulous stay. Thank you Roger and Pat!"

"This was our first time in Costa Rica. The location of the condo was perfect for being able to walk everywhere. The beach was very close. The condo pool was easy to get to and fun with a swim up pool bar. There was plenty of room to spread out, have fun dinners or relax in your room. The balconies were great to experience the sunrises and watch the sun go down over the ocean. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again."

"This place is more beautiful in person, than what the pictures show! Very spacious and clean and the view from the balcony is amazing! We had all we needed. Plenty of pillows, blankets & beach towels. The beach directly at the place has a lot of rocks but if you walk down a bit towards Witches Rock it is much nicer. "Lucio was by far the best host we have ever had, always accessible and full of helpful information. The condo truly had the most awesome views of the coast and sunsets. A large range of restaurants with excellent food and great ambiance were walking distance. The trek back uphill was daunting at the beginning but we quickly got used to it knowing we could always Uber back if we needed to. The condo was clean and well equipped. It is clearly well cared for by its owner."

"We loved the fact that we had plenty of space. We were a party of 4 and all had our own rooms (well, my husband and I shared) and bathrooms which was AMAZING. The smoke detector was beeping all the first night so we called the manager and they sent someone over that took care of it but not the way we would have expected. He took the battery out and said he would have to get another one later. I think that batteries for something like that should be on hand and being without a smoke detector in...

"My husband and I spent a week here. This is our second time staying in Matapalo 502. The condo is spacious with everything you need. The pool has to be one of the nicest pools I’ve ever experienced. Everything you need is within walking distance. The Sol Bakery has the best banana cake I’ve ever had."

Gardien de sécurité très gentil, beau terrain bien entretenu, belle piscine toujours propre. La cuisine du condo était plus que complète. Il y a toute la vaisselle nécessaire pour cuisiner….même des smoothies avec les bons fruits juteux du Costa Rica! À tous les jours, nous nous faisions des smoothies que nous buvions près de la piscine. Beaucoup de tranquillité. Belle plage à gauche...

"We could have not asked for a better location. The condo had a great set-up for 2 couples. Lots of towels/beach towels, extra sheets/blankets. ice already ready for cold drinks and a nice little welcome package when we arrived! The beach was gorgeous and a beautiful short walk into Tamarindo. Would definitely come back and stay here!"

"The place was clean and was awesome for the few days we stayed there. The outdoor shower and bathroom was a new one for us but it was a good experience. The place was totally safe and the location was super close to the beach! Overall a great stay"

"The location of the complex was ideal, far enough away to not hear the noise of the town but close enough to walk to town and the beach. Vacasa was responsive when our refrigerator/freezer went out. The condo unit is older and the linens are old. Definitely need new bed linens. Supplies were very minimal. We met the owners and other neighbors and enjoyed our interactions with them. Nice people! In general, the condo is fine, just lower your expectations a bit. "

"It is a basic condo with room for family, quiet location on outskirt of the main streets. Bring your own items for kitchen, no coffee maker or toaster. We didn't feel comfortable walking to beach from this distance but you could walk it. We enjoyed ourselves."
